The suite with a private sauna in the room at Al Castello Resort is absolutely fantastic! It's a whole new level of wellness and relaxation. I felt so refreshed and rejuvenated after using the sauna right in my own suite.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the rainfall showerheads in the private bathrooms. But hey, that's just my preference.

Gorgeous landscape, historic manor house with modern comforts, airport shuttle, fitness center, gourmet restaurant, free pool and pool towel. Lovely place to relax.and exercise.
Bird poop management could use some improvement. but who doesn't love a little surprise on their morning stroll?

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities like air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a flat-screen TV. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which included a variety of options. The hotel had a beautiful garden area and an outdoor swimming pool, perfect for relaxation and enjoying the sun. I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful hotel that exceeded all my expectations. This place, located in a stunning old castle, provided a unique and luxurious experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, even granting me a free upgrade to a room with air conditioning when they learned I was traveling with my dog. The location was peaceful and the surrounding gardens were simply breathtaking. The restaurant at this venue was top-notch, offering delicious meals that left me wanting more. I also appreciated how dog-friendly the hotel was, making my furry companion feel welcome throughout our stay.
Families will find this hotel to be an ideal choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This hotel definitely does not deserve four stars. The rooms are ok; clean and quite big but also quite dark, due to dark brown furniture. The light of the lamps in the room was not sufficient. The garden area was chaotic and not so well cared. We made very negative experiences with the restaurant. The restaurant is the hell for vegetarian. Even pasta with tomatoes (Tagliolini con pomodori) was served with three pieces of tomato but almost twenty little meat balls which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. The restaurant staff was quite clumsy, made many little mistakes and wasn’t able to speak foreign languages. The breakfast buffet was just acceptable and mainly existed of packed biscuits. The coffee however was the worst coffee we ever got served in Italy; also the hot chocolate, which was nothing more than tasteless light brown water. We were very disappointed

We had a nicely sized room for our family of 4. The room was spotless, and I enjoyed the nicest bathroom I'd seen in 3 weeks in Italy. A shower that I could turn around in with an actual door! The owners are lovely, and were very helpful during our stay. Our room had a king bed upstairs, with two single beds downstairs for our boys.
We were attracted to the hotel because of it's proximity to Milan (without having to stay in Milan), with easy access to Malpensa as this was our last stop. The truth is that it really is in the countryside. We didn't realize that we were going to be in the middle of rice and corn fields. That being said, it is a lovely hotel, and if you are content to stay put, this could fit the bill. There is a designer outlet mall very close by that was a pleasant surprise for the frustrated shopper. The restaurant was very nice. We ate there twice, and the service the first night was awful. It was obvious the poor waiter was struggling to keep up, and dinner was painfully long. The house wine and the risotto were delicious. Standard Italian breakfast. Cappuccino from the machine was awful; drink tea instead. Don't know why there is a mini-frig. Your power goes out when you leave the room, so it's pointless to keep anything cold. You must insert your room key in a slot to turn on lights etc.

A very nice countryside hotel, well furnished with a sense of it's history and tradition. Good breakfast, good beds and bathroom and a fine restaurant.
There were quite aggressive mosquitos in the back of the garden (but you an also just sit next to the back entrance, and you'll be ok), and the kids would have loved to take a dive in a swimming pool after a very long drive.

The hotel is conveniently located near the highway and Balocco proving ground, making it great for road travellers. The rooms are spacious and tastefully designed with wonderful views of the courtyard. The shower is divine and includes great bathroom products. The staff is friendly and accommodating with a restaurant that serves delicious local cuisine. Guests also have free access to secure parking, bicycle hire, and free Wi-Fi.
There was a minor noise issue in the heating or hot water system that could be slightly annoying.
